Registration Please note : The registration is not realtime, it takes atleast 3 working days. Successful domain registration via RCP or API requires: Two or more nameservers or a nameserver group. Individuals who are not resident in the island of Ireland and do not hold citizenship in the island of Ireland cannot register a .ie domain. As per the registry policy, a registrant must appoint one or more named individuals as administrative contacts, which will act as the registrant’s nominated representative(s). That means the Registrant and Admin contact can not be the same. After the registration is requested, a proof of business relationship is requested. Commercial licence (companies) or copy of an Identity Card (individuals) is required. Both documents need to be send to our Support team at support@openprovider.com. The document contains the valid state/province codes that you must use to register a .ie domain (only required if the registrant is from Canada, the United States, Ireland or the United Kingdom). NB: A proof of business relationship can be a business register extract for an office registered in Ireland, an invoice sent to an Irish customer or simply another .ie domain name of the same holder. Find a full overview of accepted proofs in section 3.1.3.1 of the Registrant Terms and Conditions.
