Registration Successful domain registration via [RCP](https://rcp.openprovider.eu/web/action/index#/domain/register) or [API](https://doc.openprovider.eu/API_Module_Domain_createDomainRequest) requires: - two or more nameservers or a nameserver group - registrant [e-mail address verification](https://openprovider.help/books/domains/page/registrant-email-verification-icann-contact-validation) applies\* Each new registration will be verified by the registry. This verification normally takes up to a few days and the registry may contact the registrant directly ask for additional supporting documentation to verify the registrant's eligibility. Such documentation must be provided within two days. Further information about the verification process is available at the [website of the registry](http://www.coop/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/verification-policy_V1.0.pdf). \* ICANN contact verification email is sent from an alternative email address - **noreply@emailverification.info** This verification is not processed by Openprovider, but its' partner. Therefore the verification status in Openprovider panel does not apply.
Transfer Successful domain transfer via [RCP](https://rcp.openprovider.eu/web/action/index#/domain/transfer) or [API](https://doc.openprovider.eu/API_Module_Domain_transferDomainRequest) requires: - authorisation code - two or more nameservers or a nameserver group - registrant [e-mail address verification](https://openprovider.help/books/domains/page/registrant-email-verification-icann-contact-validation) applies During the transfer period which can take 6 days, the current provider or the owner can reject to the transfer. To be approved to register and use a .coop domain name, an applicant must qualify under at least one of the following criteria: Members of the National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA)if otherwise eligible; Members of the International Cooperative Alliance(ICA) if otherwise eligible; Organizations formed as and/or considered cooperatives under applicable local law; Associations comprised of cooperatives; Organizations that are committed to the seven cooperative principles; Organizations that are majority controlled by cooperatives; Entities whose operations are principally dedicated to serving cooperatives.
